Here are some pictures I have taken of my beloved Pennine moors and beyond.
I must be the luckiest person alive, 95% of all images here are cycled to from my house in Accrington Lancashire..
I put the camera in the rucksack, jump onto my mountain bike and go...
  I thought I would share them with you.  After all its no good leaving them hidden on my hard drive!

All the images I took personally, however you are welcome to copy any image for reproduction on other web-sites as long as its accompanied with an acknowledgment to this site.


Asscent of Hamledon from Hapton
Go up from the side of the Hapton Inn you will reach the Fairy steps
Looking down towards the A56 bypass on top of the coppice, see the barn on fire in the distance.

You will reach the Fairy steps which are impossible to get up and a real achievement to get down!

On top of blea moor Looking into Dentdale and the deepest of 3 air shafts on Bleamoor tunnel.  All 390ft to the Settle Carlisle Railway below.

On the Causeway at Clowbridge res in between Burnley and Rossendale.  At the top of that climb is Comptons Cross.

Not many people come down this route off the back of hamledon, it eventually leads out onto Manchester Rd Crawshawbooth.

You need to be careful though, as there are one or two sharp cliff edges to avoid!

An early sunny April start. Today we take on the Yorkshire Dales.
This view just above Settle on the old road to Ingleton. Park up in the lay by here to begin your 50 mile cross country epic!
