Ian, where are the pics of the Big Lakes ride? Are you keeping this superb ride a secret - I hope so! So what is wrong with using PICASA? Go see www.NethermossArchers.com |

| Rode your Hambledon loop today 18/05/10 noticed no horse riding and cycling signs next to Spire Farm, the one that looks like a castle. Have you hade any problems here? |
| United Kingdom |
|
Yes I have seen them and complained to the local authorities. It’s down on the map as a footpath, but Horse riders, cyclists and farm vehicles have used the track for over 40 years without issue! I bet they are not very popular with the local inhabitants, as quite a few have horses and they need access to the Coppice concessionary bridleway system. The whole of the Coppice area is undergoing development at the moment, with access to all parties being catered for. The actions of this over-zealous land owner is going against the spirit of all this good work. Please feel free to air your concern. Ian.

| Fantastic. I must come back home to visit soon. I remember bike riding some of those Roads when I was a teenager some 60 years ago with my friends. It was nice to see Prickshaw. That is where my sister and her husband still live at Broadley Fold Farm. It brings back happy memories of places and friends. I have lived in British Columbia since May 1973. |

| I'm a big fan of scenic shots of the English countryside and you've captured some stunning vistas here. It's like being a virtual tourist - the next best thing to standing there breathing in the air yourself. Thanks mate! |

What a great series of pictures! I've walked or ridden a lot of these so I know many of the scenes, including the Rooley Moor scrap-yard! I only have a road bike at the moment, with 1 and one-eighth tyres; do you know if Mastiles Lane from Kilnsey through Malham Tarn to Helwith Bridge would be ok on a road bike? If you can be bothered you can find me at yecomfee@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks again for great pictures Peter |

Hi Peter, you might have to walk on a couple of occasions but you should be alright.
